Bailey was born in Cambodia. Due to the humanitarian efforts by The US Ambassador and The Thai officials, her grandfather helped her and her entire family’s immigration to America at the age of 11. 20 years later she entered her first pageant and made history as she became the first in all of these categories: Asian American woman, Cambodian immigrant, trans woman, military spouse, and a woman over the traditional age of 28 to win the title of Miss Maryland USA. If that was not her first record breaking statistic, she was also the first woman from the UMBC Dance Team to be named Captain and she later pursued her NFL Cheerleading career as a Rookie Trainee for The First Ladies of Football. Bailey married her husband, then The USMC Tank Commander, now The USMC Naval Aviator in Montgomery County Courthouse in her hometown.
FUN FACTS
1. I immigrated to America at the age of 11 without knowing how to speak, read or write in English.
2. Surprise! Like many cheerleaders and dancers I am a big fan of all things sparkly.
3. My birthstone is Ruby because I’m a July baby!
4. My favorite holiday is 4th of July, because as I celebrate America’s birthday, it is time to start gathering plans to celebrate my birthday on the 7th and my wedding anniversary!
5. Me and my husband have two adorable fur babies, Captain Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann. They are both F1 and F1B doodles!
6. Many of you knew I like to eat but I love street food in Pratunam Market in Bangkok, Thailand. They have the best crunchy mango called Mohachanok.
7. Speaking of food, I have a big sweet tooth! NY style cheesecake is nonnegotiable!
8. My favorite flowers are Lilly’s and orchids.
9. I have one big brother, who is a decade older than I am.
10. I used to be a 1st Ladies of Football Trainee for The Washington Command Force.
